Złota 44 is back on the market at MIPIM in Cannes
The EU’s tallest residential tower is back on the luxury property market with a new offering. The 192-meter-high exclusive apartment building, offering 37,000 square meters of residential space, was showcased at the premiere international property event, MIPIM, as the symbol of the economic success of Poland and of its fast-growing capital.
The designer of Złota 44, Daniel Libeskind, the celebrated Polish-born architect, has come to attend the event in person. The master architect, who was a honorary guest of the Warsaw booth, spoke about the market comeback of his design and praised Poland’s economic success over the last 25 years.
Libeskind said Złota 44 is a project dedicated to Warsaw, created with its location in mind. He said he was happy to be able to actively take part in creating the unique offering of the apartment building, which will combine functionality with unique design and highest-quality services. He believes Złota 44 will become an icon of the fast-growing capital of Poland.
The new owners, Amstar and BBI Development S.A., who bought Złota 44 in August 2014, announced at the MIPIM that the sale of the exclusive apartments will be launched in mid-April, and the first residents will move into the building in the late 2016.
The re-launch of the sale coincides with a new phase in the development of the city. Opened on Sunday 8 March, the central section of the second metro line will redefine both the communications links in Warsaw. It will largely contribute to the revitalization and development of downtown Warsaw, including the immediate neighborhood of Złota 44.
“The economic success and potential of Poland and Poles are yet to be reflected in the offering of the luxury property market. Złota 44 will enable its residents to live luxury lifestyles, which is an immanent part of life, professional and financial success. We are happy that along with Amstar we will introduce a standard of life and lifestyle that have been unavailable in our market before”, says Michał Skotnicki, CEO of BBI Development S.A.
This 52-floor high skyscraper, located at the heart of Warsaw, will offer 287 exclusive apartments designed by the reputable Woods Bagot studio. Residents will have access to the services and amenities that have not been available before, which will create a unique space for residents and their guests – the business and recreation wellness and spa area, with a 25m-long swimming pool and fitness area, a private screening room, wine cellar and a concierge reception desk. The 1400-square-meter recreational floor will also feature a sun-bathing terrace with a jacuzzi and deckchairs, offering maximum comfort and relaxation. A new feature will be an extended offering of apartment sizes. “We have modified the plans to fine-tune our product to the market needs”, says Rafał Szczepański, Deputy CEO of BBI Development S.A. At the sale launch event, on April 15, 2015, BBI and Amstar will present new interior design and finishing options provided by Woods Bagot’s studio and the detailed conditions of the new offering.
“With its fast growth, Warsaw is one of the most attractive development markets in Central and Eastern Europe. We are proud we will be able to complete the project and offer residents the unique standard of living they deserve. I’m sure Złota 44 will become the most exclusive and luxurious residential building in Poland”, says Jason Lucas, CEO of Amstar Global Partners.
Złota 44 will redefine the downtown part of Warsaw and deliver the highest quality of life in the capital. “The apartment building will enable its future residents to tap into the highest-quality cultural, culinary and entertainment offerings of the city. Prestigious culture venues such as the National Philharmonic and the planned Modern Art Museum as well as the most important business centers are located within one kilometer from Złota 44”, sums up Michał Skotnicki, CEO of BBI Development S.A.
The partners commissioned the previous contractor, Inso, to complete the construction of Złota 44, as Inso knows the project inside out and can ensure its smooth completion.
