He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and the Faculty of Law of the University of François Rabelais in Tours in France (MA) with specialisation in civil and commercial law. He also completed postgraduate studies in international trade law (Centre de Droit du Commerce International Diploma). In the years 1999–2003 he taught civil law at the Civil Law Institute of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. Since 2001, he has been running development projects, especially related to the Warsaw real estate market.
In addition to the function of the Chairman of the Issuer’s Management Board, he also holds the following positions: Chairman of the Management Board of Złota 44 sp. z o.o., Chairman of the Management Board of NPU sp. z o.o. Chairman of the Management Board of PW sp. z o.o. and Member of the Supervisory Boards of Pocztylion-Arka Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne S.A., Projekt Rybaki – Łańsk Sp. z o.o. He is also a member of the Council of the Foundation for Remembrance of the Heroes of Warsaw Uprising.
Michał Skotnicki has an extensive experience in the field of creating and managing development projects.
He is a graduate of the Academy of Catholic Theology in Warsaw and post-graduate studies at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He also took a specialist course in property management.
Currently, he is the Vice Chairman of the Management Board of BBI Development S.A. and Chairman of the Management Board of Juvenes-Projekt Sp. z o.o. He also holds managerial functions within the following capital groups: Chairman of the Management Board of Realty 4 Management Sp. z o.o., Member of the Management Board of SEZAM Sp. z o.o., Member of the Board of PW Sp. z o.o., Chairman of the Board of Projekt Rybaki – Łańsk Sp. z o.o.
is competences include acquiring new projects for the company as well as overseeing sales and marketing policy.
Rafał Szczepański has an extensive experience in activating development projects. With his active participation, special purpose vehicles were established to implement projects such as Plac Unii, Nowy Sezam, Centrum Praskie Koneser and ZŁOTA 44 in Warsaw.
In addition to his business operations, Rafał Szczepański also runs a variety of social activities. Together with the Association of Warsaw Insurgents, he founded the Foundation for Remembrance of the Heroes of Warsaw Uprising in November 2017. He is also the initiator of the construction of a monument of General Zbigniew Ścibor-Rylski.
Rafał Szczepański is also behind the creation of a series of books on the history of Warsaw “as viewed” through the prism of investments carried out by BBI Development S.A. So far from the series of “Warsaw Metropolitan City” the following titles have been published: “Simons’ Passage”, “Foksal Residence and the surroundings”, “Koneser, Ząbkowska and the surroundings”, “Plac Unii and the surroundings” and “ZŁOTA 44 and other Warsaw skyscrapers”.
In recognition of his social activities for the capital and the Mazovia region, Rafał Szczepański was honoured with the medals of “Zasłużony dla Warszawy” and “PRO MASOVIA”. In May 2015, Rafał Szczepański was awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for his public activity.
He graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw and he also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Calgary. In the years 1992–1996, he was employed in the Polish representation of a Canadian investment holding company -International UNP Holdings – on the positions of, among others, an analyst and a junior asset manager. From 1996 to 1999 he worked as an analyst and then he was responsible for managing the portfolio of minority stakes in the Second National Investment Fund. In the years 2000–2005, he was the Director of Operations and Analyses, member of the Management Board and Financial Director as well as a Liquidator of the Polish Employee Management Company “Diamond” S.A.
In addition to the functions of being a Member of the Management Board and Financial Director of the Issuer, he also holds the following positions: Chairman of the Management Board of Realty 3 Management Sp. z o.o., Member of the Board of Złota 44 Sp.z o.o., Member of the Supervisory Board of NPU Sp. z o.o. SKA and Member of the Board of IMMOBILIA Fund Sicav SIF.
In 1996, he graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. For almost 25 years, he has been actively working as a project manager and designer, managing various projects originally of Juvenes Sp. z o.o. and currently of the Issuer. Being resposnbile for a team of designers of the JKKT Sp. z o.o. companies (until 2005) and Juvenes Sp. z o.o. as well as Juvenes Projekt Sp. z o.o., he managed such significant and distinguished projects as Bell Cosmetics Factory in Józefów, “Centrum Praha” services and office building, Foksal Residence, Foksal City, Domaniewska Office Hub, Centrum Marszałkowska, buildings belonging to Centrum Praskie Koneser, including Google for Startups Campus Warsaw, Polish Vodka Museum, Hotel Moxy and others. This portfolio includes also a number of other apartments and office buildings.
Leading the project management team, he was responsible for the implementation of all the development projects of the Issuer, including projects such as Plac Unii (retail and services complex 57 000 GLA), Złota 44 (287 apartments in the highest finishing standard available on the Polish market), Centrum Praskie Koneser (approx. 70,000 GLA in a historic mixed-use ensemble combining unique urban functions). These buildings received significant industry awards: Plac Unii Eurobuild Office of the Year 2013, Złota 44 – awards in 4 categories of the European Property Awards 2015-16 – Best Residential Development, Best Apartment, Best Residential High-Rise Development, Best Interior Design Show Home Poland. Another on the list is residential building “Wytwórnia” in Centrum Praskie Koneser – the main prize in the category of “Buildings in accordance with the principles of sustainable development” PZFD for 2011-15, Centrum Praskie Koneser – Eurobuild Office of the Year 2018.
As part of his social activities, focused primarily around the issue of revitalization and protection of monuments in Warsaw’s Praga district, in the years 2009-2013, he was the Chairman of the Social Dialogue Commission in the Praga-Północ District. He is currently the Vice Chairman of the Management Board of the “Monopol Warszawski” Association.
