Złota 44 is celebrating the night of skyscrapers with Warsaw residents

The tallest residential building in the EU, Złota 44, is taking part in the festival of the Night of Skyscrapers. On Saturday 23 May, those interested in architecture and in the city of Warsaw itself will be able to get to know more about the history, construction and interiors of some of Warsaw’s iconic skyscrapers. The owners of Złota 44, BBI Development and Amstar, are participating in the project, while handing over to the guests interesting books about the city’s skyscrapers and offering a cup of coffee during the sightseeing.

Złota 44 is a construction site and because of the security reasons this year it will not be possible to enter the building and visit its interiors.

“We are much pleased that it is in Warsaw, where the city skyline is more and more spectacular, that we see such initiatives. We hope that the project will be continued next year and that it will also extend to other cities, thus becoming a Poland-wide festival of skyscrapers”, says Rafał Szczepański, Vice-President of BBI Development.

During the festival, the information point for Złota 44 will be open until midnight. Additionally, 100 guests enlisted by the organisers, an online platform Nowawarszawa.pl, will receive limited-edition books by an expert on the city of Warsaw, Jarosław Zieliński, “Złota 44 and other skyscrapers of Warsaw”. This is the first publication about the skyscrapers of Warsaw in which readers can find out more about the historic building of PAST as well as some other buildings defining the current skyline of the city. On Saturday at 21.00 there will also be a meeting with Jarosław Zieliński and Rafał Szczepański, Vice-President of BBI Development. BBI Development has already published six books as part of a series on the history of Warsaw and its buildings.
